Even after 69 years since the Independence, a major chunk of India’s population still have no exposure to the basic education. Even those who manage to get admissions in schools to pursue primary education remain clueless to push up their academic career ahead in the absence of proper guidance to them. Acute poverty and inability of the poor parents living in the villages and small towns are forcing children to stay away from schools, even as the government has been doing its bit to fund the cost of primary education in the country.
Deepak is a Petroleum Engineer by profession in Weatherford. He is currently working on Digital Oilfield project of ADNOC and living in Abu Dhabi. He loves to volunteer as a teacher and mentor. This started in college when he volunteered to teach children living in the slums. Deepak has a deep belief in community bondage. Since he relocated to Abu Dhabi, he has volunteered to take the lead on various fundraising events to support his college juniors’ health and education.
Rohit Kumar is born and brought up in middle class family of Jharkhand – The land of forest and minerals. He has completed his studies in native state of Jharkhand from IIT- DHANBAD as Mineral and Mining Engineer. He comes with a rich industrial background from one of the biggest Philanthropist house of India – Tatas. He has been associated with Atal Innovation Lab for 2 years and responsible for bringing idea for change in teaching mythology.
